Deloitte Real Estate
Deloitte Real Estate has appointed two senior consultants to its real estate sustainability team. Jack Wang (right) specialises in building energy data analytics and modelling, strategy and management. He joins from the National Energy Foundation. Nick Hogg has over seven years’ property sustainability experience, and previously worked in the upstream sustainability services division at JLL.
Natixis
The French corporate and investment bank has appointed Ian Burn as global head of cash equity. He was formerly at Citicorp Scrimgeour Vickers, Lehman Brothers – where he was head of UK equity sales – Bear Stearns, ING in 2008 and MainFirst Bank in 2011.
Alma Consulting Group
The research and development (R&D) tax group has announced the appointment of Gavin Bate as an independent tax expert. He was formerly at KPMG, where he was head of technical policy on UK R&D tax. Prior to that, Bate was lead specialist for R&D and the intangible asset regime at HMRC.
FF&P Private Equity
Kenny Miller has joined the private equity investment firm as a finance director. He was previously at Hutton Collins Capital Partners, where he was a financial controller. Before that, Miller held private equity fund accounting roles at 3i, and fund roles at State Street and Bank of New York.
Majedie Asset Management
The investment boutique has hired Adrian Brass as a fund manager. Brass will co-manage two new funds – the Global Equity fund and the Global Focus fund. He previously spent six years managing the America Fund at Fidelity.
Osborne Clarke
The law firm has appointed Brent Wright as a partner in its pensions team. He specialises in contentious and non-contentious pensions law. Wright joins from Slaughter and May, where he was an associate. He has also previously held roles at Eversheds.
Sophos
The security solutions firm has made two hires. Bryan Barney joins as a senior vice president (VP) and general manager from McAfee, where he was executive VP of product development. Karl-Heinz Warum joins as regional VP for Germany, Northern and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa from Dell.
