The law firm has appointed Amanda Howlett as a partner in its EU and competition team. She specialises in contentious and non-contentious competition law. Howlett was previously head of competition at Pannone.
HedgeGuard
The asset management technology company has hired Richard Hutton to its family office business. He has over 10 years’ experience, and was most recently at Campden Wealth. Prior to that, Hutton was head of business development at Family Bhive.
Allied World
The assurance business has appointed Erik Johnson as assistant vice president for business development. He was most recently at Lloyd’s of London, where he was a strategy manager. Before that, Johnson was an assistant director in Deloitte’s insurance practice.
Hymans Robertson
John Taylor has joined the pensions and risk consultancy as head of delivery for its guided outcomes proposition. He was formerly managing director of customer and proposition at the National Employment Savings Trust. Taylor has also previously held marketing director roles at Lloyds Bank and Standard Life.
Guardian Financial Services
The insurance group has announced the appointment of James Tufts as group chief risk officer. He joins from Ernst & Young, where he was lead partner for its UK life actuarial practice and its UK insurance risk markets practice.
BNY Mellon
The investment management firm has appointed Gregory Roath as Asia-Pacific head of global client management. He joined BNY Mellon in New York in 1999, working in product management and Western European relationship management. He was most recently Asia-Pacific head of depositary receipts.
Enables IT
Mark Elliott has been appointed chief financial officer at the technology company. He was formerly a partner at Baker Tilly, where he specialised in audit and corporate finance.
