The asset finance provider has announced the hire of Lee Simms as head of agriculture. He joined Lombard 10 years ago, and has since held various roles in sales and strategy.
JP Morgan Private Bank
Faraj Saghri has been named head of the private bank for the UK and Nordics. He has worked at JP Morgan for over 25 years, and founded its financial sponsor group.
AshbyCapital
The real estate investment advisory firm has appointed Charles-Etienne Lawrence as vice president. Lawrence was most recently at HSBC, where he was vice president in its real estate finance division. He has previously held senior positions at JER Partners and RBS.
Eversheds
Giles Salmond has joined the law firm as a partner in its London tax team, where he will lead its VAT disputes and indirect taxes practice. Salmond was formerly indirect tax litigation director at Deloitte. Before that, he worked at Garretts.
Excelian
The technology consultancy has made two hires. Chandresh Jani joins as senior principal consultant from Credit Agricole, where he was development manager for structured credit IT. Marc Maynard has been appointed head of commodities. He was formerly director of commodity exotics and hybrids technology at JP Morgan.
Key Retirement Solutions
The retirement advisory firm has recruited Simon Thompson as group finance director. He joins from the markets and international banking division at RBS, where he was a managing director and head of UK insurance coverage. Prior to that, Thompson worked in the financial institutions group at UBS Investment Bank.
Claranet
Andy Wilton has joined the technology firm as chief information officer. He has previously held senior roles at 3Com, Siemens Network Systems and 2e2.
Mundays
The law firm has announced the appointment of Julie Man as head of private wealth. She joined the firm in 2006 from W Davies Solicitors, where she was a partner.
