The bank’s real estate management division, part of its global restructuring group, has announced the hire of Jessica Way as a senior asset manager. She was most recently at Aviva Investors, where she was a real estate asset manager for its property trust.
Chadbourne & Parke
The advisory firm has recruited Nikolai Mikhailov as an international partner in its London and Moscow offices. He joins from Clifford Chance, where he worked in its capital markets practice.
Julius Baer
Alan Hooks has joined the private banking group as UK head of wealth and tax planning. Hooks has over 15 years’ experience in wealth management. He was previously at Lloyds Private Banking in London, where he was head of UK wealth structuring solutions.
Crowe Clark Whitehill
The tax, audit and advisory firm has appointed Rob Gunn as a partner in its Midlands office. Gunn specialises in corporate tax, and was most recently at RSM Tenon, where he was a tax partner.
Sovereign Capital
The private equity buy-and-build specialist has hired Jeremy Morgan as a director in its deal team. Morgan was a founding member of Barclays Ventures, having joined the bank in 1993.
BlueBay Asset Management
Luc Leclercq has been appointed partner and chief operating officer at the asset management firm. He was most recently at State Street, where he was responsible for managing client relations in its middle office business. Prior to that, Leclercq spent eight years at F&C Asset Management.
London Bullion Market Association
The trade association has announced the appointment of Ruth Crowell as chief executive. Crowell has previously held various roles at White & Case and Norton Rose.

The investment marketplace has made two hires. Nigel Someck joins as commercial director from Sunguard. Edward Drew has been appointed sales manager, and joins from Automated Trader.
