Stan Chaudhry has been appointed director in the professional services firm’s UK investment management team. He joins from Brook Bay Capital, where he was chief operating officer. Chaudhry has also held senior operational and finance roles at Thames River Capital.
Penna Consulting
The human resources consulting firm has appointed Penny de Valk as an executive director. She is managing director of Penna Talent Practice, the company’s global talent division. De Valk joined in December 2013 following Penna’s acquisition of Savile Group, where she was chief executive of its Fairplace Cedar subsidiary. She was also previously chief executive of the Institute of Leadership and Management.

The board effectiveness review firm has appointed Clare Chalmers as partner. She was formerly chief executive of IDDAS. Chalmers has almost 20 years’ experience in the financial services sector with companies including Credit Suisse and Lehman Brothers.
Bayhead Advisors
Leo McLaughlin has been appointed partner at the real estate debt and equity adviser. He joins from Lloyds Banking Group, where he was most recently a transaction director in its client asset management team in commercial banking, focusing on the deleverage of real estate loans.
FRP Advisory
The restructuring and advisory firm has announced the appointment of Raj Mittal as a partner. He joins from Grant Thornton, and has 15 years’ experience in financial advisory and restructuring.
RBC Global Asset Management
The asset management division of Royal Bank of Canada has announced the appointment of Ken Tam as managing director and head of Asia for RBC Investment Management (Asia). He has over 25 years’ experience in financial services, and was most recently managing director and head of global client group, Asia Pacific ex-Japan at Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management. Tam has also previously held several senior positions at JP Morgan Asset Management.
