Cheap iPhone in the works
A CHEAPER, lower-end iPhone could reportedly go on sale as early as this year, as Apple looks to expand its market share in the face of increasing competition.
The company is working on a device that would look the same as current models, but with a less-expensive, plastic body that could appeal to those unwilling to splash out, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing “people briefed on the matter”.
Apple did not comment.
