This challenger bank is moving to a larger London HQ
Hampshire Trust Bank has revealed today it will be moving to larger London headquarters to house its expanded team.
The bank, which launched in its current format two years ago, is planning to make the move from its 7,500 square foot headquarters near the Barbican to a newly refurbished 21,000 square foot office on Bishopsgate.
In its most recent interim results, the bank revealed staff numbers had broken into triple-digit territory, an increase of 25 per cent compared with the end of 2015.

"Next year's move is a significant step in the journey of the bank," said Mark Sismey-Durrant, chief executive at Hampshire Trust Bank. "Our new headquarters will provide us with significant room for expansion and help us to continue on our strong growth trajectory.
"As we recently announced, we have transitioned into profit, we are now focused on building on this success and ensuring we are well positioned to make the most of future opportunities."
During the first half of 2016, the bank also achieved a pre-tax profit of £1.3m.
