Captain Fabregas hands fitness boost to Arsenal
ARSENAL captain Cesc Fabregas will hand his side a major boost and make his latest comeback from injury against Blackburn at Emirates Stadium tomorrow.
The Spain international (right) has struggled repeatedly with hamstring injuries this term.
Fabregas has not played since last month’s 3-1 Champions League defeat in Barcelona, a game in which he lasted just 78 minutes with a recurrence of the problems which kept him out of the Carling Cup final defeat against Birmingham 10 days beforehand.
Arsenal, five points behind Premier League leaders Manchester United with a game in hand, will also be able to call again on the services of winger Theo Walcott and midfielders Alex Song and Abou Diaby.
Striker Robin van Persie is also expected to be fit despite suffering an injury while playing for Holland in their midweek win over Hungary.
