A Bond new club for City’s singles
WHAT do hedge funds, Sir Roger Moore and a Danish-Swedish socialite have in common? They’re all related in some way to a new social club for singles called Ochun.
The club has been founded by Christina Knudsen (the socialite in question and incidentally the step-daughter of Sir Roger Moore) and former Arbiter hedge funder Richard Steele. Members are unattached folks between 30 and 55 and the first event is tomorrow night, a dinner for 10 people at an undisclosed “awesome” location.
“It doesn’t matter how big your wallet is but how interesting you are and if you can hold a conversation at a dinner table,” Steele told The Capitalist. Well, your wallet isn’t completely redundant, you’ll have to pull it out to pay the £1,500 annual fee – but we get the drift.
