Battersea Station and Embassy Gardens homes snapped up
THREE quarters of the homes planned for first phase of the regeneration of Battersea Power Station have been snapped up since they went on sale last week, the developers said yesterday.
The Battersea Power Station Development Company said 600 of the townhouses and flats at Circus West had been reserved, with commitments for over £600m received since the launch last Thursday.
The properties, which went on sale to UK buyers first, range from £343,000 for a studio flat to £6m for a duplex penthouse.
The developers of Embassy Gardens scheme, a neighbouring scheme in the Nine Elms Opportunity Area, also revealed yesterday that 90 per cent of flats offered have been sold to date.
Ballymore said some 60 per cent of the 2,000 homes were claimed by UK buyers. A three bedroom flat is being marketed for as much £2m, according to its website.
