Barratt is building on another strong year of housing growth
BARRATT Developments said yesterday it was on track to deliver a strong year of growth and that market conditions would remain robust for the group across all UK regions.
The housebuilder said its sales rate of 0.63 net private reservations per site per week in the 19 weeks to 9 November was down on the 0.71 reported last year following the launch of Help-to-Buy.
However, it said it was on course to hit its target of 15,000 house sale completions this year “by continuing to focus on delivering high quality, well designed homes in places where people want to live”, said chief executive Mark Clare.
Private forward sales, excluding joint ventures, rose 11.9 per cent in the period to £1.26bn.
