Dauntless beat Audax to the punch in the Daring category despite a poor start and Aquabat edged out Helmut Shoing II in the much smaller Squib class.
With crew and boat perfectly in-sync, Fury, skippered by Jason Owen, crossed the line in first place, 26 seconds before XL in the X One Design class.
While the wind postponed yesterday’s racing there were no such difficulties yesterday, with the conditions allowing the Lendy team to take first place in the Sunsail Match F40 class.

Family Day delivered stunning conditions with a solid east-south-easterly breeze of nine to 12 knots. The consistent gusts across the course favoured crews who worked hard, and Team Lendy, with corporate guests on board, prevailed to mark the launch of Lendy Wealth’s Wealth60 and Wealth365 accounts in style.
Tomorrow high pressure from the west and low to the north-west will bring a westerly flow from early afternoon, meaning a moderate wind flow of 10 to 14 knots is hoped for.
The weather should make for speeding racing for women’s day on the Solent.
