Towers Watson

The professional services firm has appointed Joris Wonders as practice leader for its rewards business across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He re-joins Towers Watson from Kingfisher, where he launched new bonus and long-term incentive plans.

F&C Investments

The investment firm has announced the appointment of Alex Howe as sales director in its UK wholesale team. He joins from Schroders, where he spent eight years working in its UK asset manager sales team, with a primary focus on London discretionary firms.


The law firm has appointed Marcus Bonnell as counsel in its regulatory group. He joins from PwC, where he worked in its financial services regulatory practice. Bonnell has also served as a legal adviser to the Financial Services Authority Regulatory Decisions Committee.


Matthijs Weeink has been appointed national director in the occupier strategy team of the real estate-focused professional services firm’s corporate consulting division. He joins after six years at Investment Consulting Associates. Weeink has also held positions at EY.

Tilney Bestinvest

The investment and financial planning firm has announced the appointment of James Collings as group compliance director. He joins from Schroders, where he spent eight years as head of compliance for its UK private banking arm, before being appointed head of compliance, infrastructure in December 2012. Collings has also held roles at Linklaters and Merrill Lynch.

De Vere

The financial advisory firm has announced two appointments to its UK workplace solutions division. Simon Chrystal joins as managing director. He was previously head of Oval Pensions Solutions. Paul Butler joins as operations director from NGIA, where he was a director.

Town Centre Securities

The property investment firm has announced two appointments to its asset management team. Jonathan Henley has eight years’ experience and joins from Lambert Smith Hampton. Nicola Godfrey has five years’ experience and joins from GVA Hotels and Leisure.
