Edmond de Rothschild
Olivier Colom has been appointed head of the private banking and asset management group’s new General Secretariat, responsible for ensuring the Executive Committee’s decisions are implemented. He joined Edmond de Rothschild in 2013 as an international adviser, and has previously served as an adviser to the President of France and in various positions in the French foreign service.
Pinsent Masons
The law firm has appointed David Heffron to lead its financial regulatory practice. He joins Pinsent Masons as a partner from Addleshaw Goddard, where he led its financial services sector and regulatory practice. Heffron advises banks, building societies, insurers, brokers and other financial services providers on regulatory and commercial issues.
Grosvenor Britain & Ireland
The property company has appointed Simon Harding-Roots as executive director, major projects, London estate. He joins from Imperial College London, where he was chief operating officer and a member of the College’s board.
DLA Piper
The law firm has announced two appointments to its real estate team. Karen Howard and Trevor Ivory, who both focus on planning and development, join in London and Birmingham respectively. Ivory was previously head of planning & environment at Howes Percival. Howard joins from RPC, where she was head of planning.
Argentis Financial Management
The wealth management and financial planning firm has appointed Robert Saunders as a chartered financial planner in its West End office. He joins from ISM Wealth Management, and has also held positions at Smith & Williamson, Strabens Hall, Cavendish Brooke and HMRC.
Natixis Global Asset Management
The investment firm has appointed Chris Jackson as deputy chief executive of Natixis Global Asset Management, international distribution. Based in London, he was previously head of international product and head of UK retail at the company. Jackson joined Natixis in 2013 from M&G, where he was product director, responsible for the team overseeing product development, management, and research.
