Wiggo fails to find top form
BRITAIN’S Sir Bradley Wiggins failed to make an impact during the second stage of the Tour of Qatar yesterday as Norway’s Alexander Kristoff secured victory and claimed the race leader’s gold jersey.
Wiggins crossed the line nine minutes and 18 seconds behind Kristoff, ending his chances of snatching overall victory.
The 34-year-old will be hoping for better fortune during today’s time trial where he is set to debut his world champion’s rainbow jersey.
