Stephen Fry and Prince Harry: These are the celebrities Britons want to go for a pint with
Britain is a nation of beer drinkers, and there's no one we'd like to grab a pint with quite as much as Stephen Fry.
The comedian is the number one male beer-drinking companion of 18 per cent of the nation, according to research by campaign group There's a Beer For That.
After Stephen came Prince Harry with 17 per cent and David Beckham with 15 per cent.

While the men's list is dominated by comedians, writers and politicians, the women's list glowed with presenters, pop singers and actresses. The Queen and Kate Middleton slotted in among them with 13 per cent and 10 per cent, respectively.
TV personality and model Holly Willoughby and actress Emma Watson came in joint first place with 15 per cent each.

Beer is the nation's favourite drink
Almost half of Britons say they “love” drinking beer – more than wine or any other alcoholic drink.
This sheds a positive light on what we think about ourselves – we also consider beer drinkers to be the “friendliest” and “most fun” group of people.
Part of the reason we enjoy beer so much is that we think it's the most traditionally British drink. Falling behind are Pimms, Cider, Gin & Tonic and Whisky.
