RBC Wealth Management
Adam Norris has been appointed senior manager in the wealth management firm’s newly-formed intermediary wealth solutions offering. He joins from HSBC Private Bank, where he focused on Channel Islands-based private clients. Norris has also held roles at Deutsche Bank.
MIG Capital
Paul Chrimes has been appointed chief operating officer of the trading division of MIG Bank. He joins from Etrade Securities, the online brokerage, where he was most recently chief executive. Chrimes has 30 years’ experience in financial services, and has also held roles at UBS and NatWest.
Patterson Associates
The remuneration consultancy has appointed Sue Bartlett as vice president. She joins from Towers Watson, where she was a director in consulting services and specialised in executive rewards. Bartlett has also held roles at Deloitte.
DLA Piper
The law firm has announced the appointment of two partners to its real estate group. Mark Hilton joins from Addleshaw Goddard, where he has worked since 2005. He was previously head of construction at Hammonds Suddards. Simon Palmer also joins from Addleshaw Goddard, where he was head of construction litigation.
Stadia Trustees
The pensions firm has announced two new appointments. Alex Hales joins as business development manager and will work to build partnerships with independent financial advisers. Emily Head joins as head of communications.
Howden
The insurance broker has hired Martin Owens as claims director for its financial institutions and international casualty divisions. He joins from Paragon International, and also spent time at Jardine Lloyd Thompson, where he headed up the financial lines and casualty claims team.
