Barclays
Tom Wood has been appointed head of professional services at the banking group. He joined Barclays in 2007 as a relationship director, and most recently spent three and half years as corporate director and deputy head of its professional services team. Wood has also held roles at RBS.
Jupiter Asset Management
Andrew Clark has been appointed head of private clients and charities at the asset management firm. He will join in December from Schroders, where he is head of business development for its private banking division. Clark has 17 years’ experience in the wealth management industry, and has also held roles at Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management.
Assura Group
Jonathan Murphy has been appointed as finance director at the investor and developer of primary care properties. He most recently worked as finance director of Brooks Macdonald’s fund management business. Murphy has also held senior roles at Spirit Group and Vodafone.
Thomas Miller Investments
The investment management firm has appointed Tom Richards as head of private investment management (offshore). He joins from Maitland, where he was senior investment manager within its investment services business. Richards has also held roles at Quilter.
Eversheds
The law firm has announced the hire of a four-strong pensions team from Cobbetts. The team is headed up by partner Richard Shelton, and also includes principal associate Simon Evans, senior associate Patricia Critchley, and associate Cat Ellis. The practice will focus on advising the trustees of large pension schemes.
James Hambro & Partners
The asset management partnership has announced the appointment of James Horniman as a partner. He joins from UBS Wealth Management, where he has worked as a team leader and portfolio manager in its UK domestic business since 2007. Horniman has also previously held roles at HSBC Investment Management and Morgan Grenfell Asset Management.
Osborne Clarke
Greg Fullelove has been appointed as a partner in the law firm’s dispute resolution team. He joins from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he was a member of its international arbitration and public international law groups. Fullelove has specific experience of disputes in the energy and finance sectors.
