LDC
The private equity house has appointed Andrew Hampshire as investment director in its value enhancement group. He joins from the Lloyds Banking Group, where he spent six years leading change and technology programmes. He was most recently responsible for heading up Lloyds’s data quality function.
Deloitte
Fredrik Burger has been appointed as a partner in Deloitte’s corporate finance practice, where he will lead the due diligence team’s work in assessing operational turnaround plans. Burger joins from Human Care, a medical equipment company, where he was chief executive.
Barnett Waddingham
The actuarial and administrative consultancy firm has appointed Adrian Cooper to the role of head of business development. He has 23 years’ experience in similar positions, and has previously worked for Sacker & Partners, Towers Perrin and Clifford Chance.
Bird & Bird
Allan Poulter has been made a partner in the law firm’s international intellectual property practice in London. He joins from Field Fisher Waterhouse, where he headed up its India desk. Poulter has particular focus on trademarks, practising brand clearance, protection, exploitation and enforcement.
OMERS Private Equity
The private equity arm of OMERS, the Canadian pension fund, has made two senior appointments. Isabelle Pagnotta joins as a director from Arcapita, where she was a private equity principal. Pagnotta also worked for Bridgepoint for four years. Bryony Marshall joins as an associate from Hawkpoint, where she spent four years advising private equity firms on mid-market transactions. She has also worked at Och-Ziff.
