Drivers Jonas Deloitte
The provider of property consultancy services has announced that Jeremy Castle has joined as director in its planning team. Castle most recently spent four years leading planning strategy at Battersea Power Station as planning director of Treasury Holdings. He has also previously worked at Legal & General. In addition, Nigel Hawkey arrives at the firm as a consultant. He joins from Quintain Estates and Development, where he was director of planning.
Barclays
The wealth and investment management division of Barclays has announced that Andrew Hodson has been appointed managing director, wealth management UK. He will join the firm in June and report to Christian Berchem, head of high net worth in the UK. Hodson arrives from Citi Private Bank, where he was a UK private banker. He has also served as a managing director at HSBC Private Bank.
BDO
The international accountancy and business advisory firm has announced the appointment of Stephen Peters as director in its forensic accounting practice. Prior to joining BDO, Peters was forensic accounting director at AlixPartners, the specialist US consultancy firm. He has also held senior positions at PwC.
Pictet Asset Management
Luca Paolini has joined the institutional asset management division of Pictet & Cie as chief strategist. He arrives from Credit Suisse, where he was a director in the global equity strategy team. He has previously held senior roles at AllianzDresdner and Union Investment. Paolini will report in London to Oliver Ginguene, head of asset allocation and quantitative investments.
Goodman Derrick
The law firm has boosted its corporate and litigation teams with the addition of five partners. John Wright and Simon McLeod have joined from Bird & Bird, Paul Webb from Taylor Wessing, Edward Hoare joins from Charles Russell, and Stephen Hornsby arrives from Davenport Lyons.
CityFibre
The provider of fibre optic infrastructure has appointed three non-executive directors to its board. Massimo Prelz Oltramonti, Bruno Ducharme and Michael Williamson bring, respectively private equity, mobile industry and capital markets expertise to the firm.

The law firm has promoted three associates to partner. Saiontou Basu jointly heads the India group, Pat Saini manages the case work team for its immigration practice, and Mike Busby acts in commercial property.
