European markets look set for a marginally upbeat open this morning after a positive finish in the US on Friday.
Traders may well be somewhat windswept in London this morning, though, as St Jude hits the UK.
Markets due for a stronger open FTSE +25. Not quite so positive for Greater Anglia who have cancelled all trains before 9!! #UKStorm

Key events:
- UK CBI distributive trades survey for October at 11.00am. Expected at 33, down from 34.
- US industrial production for September at 1.15am. Expected unchanged, up 0.4 per cent.
- US pending home sales for September at 2.00pm. Expected down 0.5 per cent, up from -1.6 per cent.
- US Dallas Fed manufacturing business for October at 2.30pm.
