We've got the much-awaited US non-farm payroll report later today, and European markets are expected to open higher this morning.
US markets saw no real change overnight. An earlier sell-off saw investors hedging their bets in anticipation of today's data.

- France industrial output for November at 7.45am. Expected at 0.4 per cent from -0.3 per cent.
- Spain industrial output for November at 9.00am.
- UK industrial production for November at 9.30am. Expected at 3.1 per cent from 3.2 per cent.
- UK manufacturing production for November at 9.30am. Expected at 3.3 per cent from 2.7 per cent.
- US non-farm payrolls for December at 1.30pm. Expected at 195,000 from 203,000.
- US unemployment rate at 1.30pm. Expected unchanged at seven per cent.
- UK NIESR GDP estimate for the three months to December at 3.00pm.
- US Fed's Bullard speech at 6.00pm.
