Westfield reveals prison nightmare
CRICKET: Former Essex bowler Mervyn Westfield has described his spell in Belmarsh prison for spot-fixing as “hell”. Westfield served half of a four-month sentence last year after agreeing to concede a specified number of runs during an over in a match against Durham. The 25-year-old is now sharing his experiences with the Professional Cricketers’ Association to help educate young players.
