Warner axed for one-day series
CRICKET: Controversial Australian batsman David Warner has been axed for the one-day series with England due to a string of poor performances. The 27-year-old, exiled from the Test team earlier this summer due to off-field disciplinary problems, has scored just one half-century in his last 11 one-day international matches for Australia. And Warner has been omitted from the 15-man squad who play Scotland tomorrow before five matches against England.
