Virgin Money announces two new appointments to senior executive team, with Peter Bole to join as chief financial officer and Hugh Chater to take on the role of chief commercial officer
Challenger bank Virgin Money has appointed former Tesco Bank finance chief Peter Bole as its new chief financial officer.
In a statement today, the bank said he will join in 2017.

Glen Moreno, chairman of Virgin Money, said Bole is "an accomplished professional with first-class strategic financial management experience.
"I am very much looking forward to working with Peter as we continue to grow the business," he said.
Meanwhile, Hugh Chater is to join as chief commercial officer by June of this year, responsible for the full range of Virgin Money products, including credit cards.

Both Bole and Chater will report to chief executive Jayne-Anne Gadhia.
Current finance chief Dave Dyer will remain in the role until he hands over the the reins to Bole. He will then remain with Virgin Money in an advisory role for an unspecified period of time.
