Villa roar back to reach semis

ASTON Villa manager Paul Lambert returned to punish his former side Norwich on his first visit since his summer departure in the Capital One Cup quarter-final last night.
Norwich opened the scoring when Steve Morison chipped over Shay Given but were pegged back within a minute when Brett Holman fired in a tremendous half-volley from the edge of the area.
Lambert handed striker Darren Bent his first start in six weeks but he was withdrawn on 35 minutes with a hamstring injury.
Bent’s replacement Andreas Weimann fired in a brace late on before Christian Benteke finished a fine team move in stoppage time.
