Victory parade
THE RED Arrows brought colour to the skies of London yesterday as part of a remembrance service to mark the 70th anniversary of VE Day (Victory in Europe Day). A military parade passed through Westminster, observed by crowds and over 1,000 veterans. Aircraft from the second World War also took part in the fly-past, commemorating the end of hostilities in 1945. The event was attended by the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales and Prime Minister David Cameron.
