Top homes hit record high prices
The average asking price for prime properties in the UK is at an all-time high following a 0.9 per cent increase last month, according to data out today from PrimeLocation.com. The asking price for the top 25 per cent of houses now averages £478,797, up 4.8 per cent or £21,756 on the year. Prime London property drives the market, averaging £1.3m, up 13.7 per cent or £158,047 on the year.
