The rich get richer as the vote for the Online Personal Wealth Awards includes a prize draw for an Apple Watch
What do you get for the audience that has everything? An Apple Watch, of course.
The voting is open for the Online Personal Wealth Awards, and those who get involved are could get a little bit wealthier.
Now in it's third year, the personal wealth awards hands out gongs to companies which "offer great service and products in the area of personal wealth".
Voting closes at the end of May, and the winners will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony at Lords's cricket ground later this year.
Last year's prize winners hailed from the likes of Beaufort Securities, Aberdeen Asset Management and Fidelity worldwide. Sponsors for the 2016 event including such big names as AJ Bell and XTB, which just recently secured a deal to turn Madds Mikkelsen, who plays Casino Royale Bond villain Le Chiffre, into the firm's new brand ambassador.
The hotly anticipated Apple Watch went on sale last year, and well-heeled wearable tech-lovers have 38 varieties to choose from.
The Capitalist wonders if wealth managers from the Mayfair and City firms don't already have smart watches?
Then again, they're not easy to come by these days. At least one style – the top of the range £13,500 18 carat gold watch – sold out almost immediately after its release.
