A problem with the app’s sign in system was detected just after 1.30pm, according to Revolut’s website.
Revolut offers customers services including fee free currency exchange, commission free stock trading, and cryptocurrency exchange, as well as a pre-paid debit card.
One Twitter user complained of being out of the country and unable to access their account.
“I’m really sorry but I still cannot get into my account, and since I’m abroad I’m quite embarrassed at the moment,” they said.
Another complained of being unable to use the app’s trading services, tweeting: “Card payments and ATM withdrawals might be working as normal. But do you know what’s not? Revolut Trading. A Revolut spokesperson said: “We are currently experiencing a technical issue that is preventing some customers from logging into the app.”
