Swastika sees Croatia docked
CROATIA have been handed a one-point deduction as punishment for the swastika which became visible on the pitch during their Euro 2016 Group H qualifier with Italy last month.
European governing body Uefa have also fined the Croatian Football Federation €100,000 (£70,000) and ordered them to play their next two matches behind closed doors. Croatian football bosses, who claim the appearance of the swastika – applied by chemical agent – was an act of sabotage, can appeal the decision. Croatia remain a point ahead of Italy at the top of Group H.
