SLUMDOG MILLIONS FOR CINEWORLD
CINEWORLD, the cinema chain, said yesterday it saw healthy trading in the first six months of the year with revenues up 16.5 per cent on the back of a string of blockbusters, including runaway success Slumdog Millionaire, which grossed over £31m in the UK and Ireland. The firm said the rest of the year looks promising, with the release of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and a number of 3D films due for release.
