Slaughter and May names seven new partners to London office
MAGIC circle law firm Slaughter and May has promoted seven lawyers to its partnership, it said yesterday.
From 1 May dispute resolution specialist Jonathan Clark, competition duo Jordan Ellison and Anna Lyle-Smith, corporate lawyer Susannah Mackney and tax expert Dominic Robertson will become partner.
They will be joined by Azadeh Nassiri, a financing lawyer, and Tom Vickers from the restructuring team.
The new appointments bring Slaughters’ global partner headcount to 119, including 105 in London.
The promotions mean that 20 per cent of the firms’ partnership worldwide will be women.
“We are delighted to welcome seven very talented new partners,” said senior partner Chris Saul.
“They cover a range of practice areas and will, I know, make a tremendous contribution to the firm’s practice.”
