Seymour Pierce on top of Aim advisers
STOCKBROKER Seymour Pierce continued to dominate the small cap advisory sector over the past three months of the year, the latest Aim adviser rankings from financial data provider Hemscott show today.
Seymour Pierce added six new stockbroking clients over the period despite a wave of recent small cap insolvencies and delistings from Aim, taking its total client tally to 88. Second-placed Arbuthnot Securities added two clients to finish with 69, while Evolution and Cenkos finished in third and fourth place respectively.
Seymour Pierce was also the top-ranked Aim nominated adviser (Nomad) over the quarter with 93 clients. Grant Thornton topped the auditor rankings with 200 clients, while Pinsent Masons remained in the lead among the law firms.
