Scudamore sorry for sexism row
FOOTBALL: Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore yesterday apologised for sexist comments he made in emails that were revealed by his former personal assistant. “I accept the contents are inappropriate and apologise for any offence caused, particularly to the former employee. It was an error of judgment that I will not make again,” Scudamore said. Equality group Women in Football called for a Premier League investigation into the revelations.
