Robshaw issues HQ challenge
CAPTAIN Chris Robshaw has called on England to lay the foundations for victory at the 2015 Rugby World Cup by establishing a formidable home record in the imminent November internationals.
Australia, who have been drawn in the hosts’ group for the tournament, are the first visitors to Twickenham on Saturday, followed by Argentina and reigning world champions New Zealand.
“If you look at the build-up to the 2003 World Cup, England had been unbeaten at home since 1999,” said Robshaw. “It’s about making it a really tough place for people to come and play. That doesn’t just happen, it takes a lot of hard work. Hopefully it’ll start building now.”
