Revenue up at Paddy Power as it ramps up expansion
Irish bookmaker Paddy Power today announced revenue growth of 23 per cent over the period from July, as it said it would open 45 new sites in the UK this year.
In an interim management statement this morning, the company said its UK high street shops reported net revenue up five per cent on a like for like basis over the period.
Online turnover in Australia was up 24 per cent year on year, Paddy Power said.
“We also continued to progress our portfolio of newer online businesses and to invest in exploring other development opportunities to contribute to longer term growth,” it said in a statement.
