Real Good Food shares dented
Shares in The Real Good Food Co tumbled 8.7 per cent yesterday after the company announced a first-half net debt increase on the back of rising commodity costs. The bakery ingredients and sugar group said overall it had been trading strongly. In the six months to 24 June, volumes have increased, with overall sales rising by 21 per cent to £110m and earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation improving from £600,000 at the same point last year to £2.7m. The firm’s shares, which have trebled in value over the last 12 months, closed at 66p.
