The Queen is to unveil a new war memorial dedicated to all those involved in the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
A sculpture by British artist Paul Day has been created to commemorate all military and non-military personnel who took part in the wars.
The artwork is composed of two large stone monoliths supporting a bronze medallion, representing the themes of duty and service. It cost £1m, funded through donations.
The sculpture will be unveiled and dedicated at Victoria Embankment Gardens next to the Ministry of Defence, in a ceremony attended by several other members of the Royal Family, including Prince Charles and Prince Harry.
