Pumas try untested back trio
ARGENTINA are to unleash an unfamiliar back division on England this Saturday following injuries to key players.
The Pumas are without playmakers Juan Martin Hernandez and Felipe Contepmoi for the clash at Twickenham, while Leicester winger Lucas Amorosino and Harlequins’ Gonzalo Camacho are also missing.
In their place, coach Santiago Phelan has called up London Irish scrum-half Alfredo Lalanne and Harlequins’ Gonzalo Tiesi, who starts at outside centre in a side which shows seven changes from the one which beat England 24-22 in Salta, in June.
Phelan has, however, stuck with his tried and tested forward pack of France-based trio Rodrigo Roncero, Mario Ledesma and Martin Scelzo, who form a powerful front row seen by many as the toughest in world rugby.
