PRIME MARKETS TO LEVEL OFF NEXT YEAR
The world’s prime markets are anticipated to level off next year, according to the Knight Frank global forecast. Forty-four per cent of cities are expected to see prices rise, 44 per cent should expect a fall in prices, and 12 per cent will remain unchanged. Asian cities are predicted to experience the majority of price falls.
NEW UCL CAMPUS TO OPEN IN EAST END
The University College of London is developing a 20-acre campus next to the Olympic Park in East London and a £500m plan to upgrade the Bloomsbury campus by 2020. The new site will be in walking distance from King’s Cross stations with the first phase of construction expected to be complete within five years.
CSC AGREES TERMS OVER BROADMARSH
Capital Shopping Centres (CSC) has agreed terms to buy the remaining 25 per cent of Broadmarsh mall in Nottingham from Possfund Custodian Trustee, represented by LaSalle Investment Management, for a total of £18.3m. CSC will now own 100 per cent of the Broadmarsh Retail Limited Partnership.
