Premier clubs head to States
CHELSEA and Manchester United have confirmed their participation in the International Champions Cup, a 10-team pre-season tournament to be held in the United States.
Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Porto, Fiorentina, Mexican side Club America and three Major League Soccer (MLS) teams will also take part in the event on unspecified dates between 11 July to 5 August.
Tottenham are also set to play in the US as part of their preparations for the 2015-16 campaign after arranging to face an MLS All-Star team in Denver on 29 July. Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino insists it is to be their only pre-season fixture staged outside of Europe.
