Pictures: Snoop’s in the Dogg House
Uber trendy travel startup Airbnb, which lets holidayers book stays at regular people’s homes, has roped rapster-extraordinaire Snoop Dogg in to help with its pop-up event at SXSW festival in Austin, Texas this year.
The rapper, who briefly re-styled as Snoop Lion before seemingly going Dogg again, has designed a pop-up house which reflects his personality.
There’s some gold wallpaper, replete with marijuana leaves, a red leather egg chair, a gold-gun lighter, a huge TV and a massive sign saying BO$$.
The structure, which has a lovely decked area outside as well, is in Airbnb’s park area – where delegates at the festival, which is a celebration of film, music and technology, can go and chill out. The festival started on Thursday and runs until Sunday.
Snoop Dogg is one of three artists taking part (Capital Cities and Allen Stone are the other two – yeah, we don’t know them either) and has also had a hand in organising the programme of events to take place at his temporary crib, including food tastings and music performances.
