Paulson cuts stakes in US banks

John Paulson, the billionaire investor, halved his stake in Bank of America in the second quarter, according to a filing yesterday with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. His fund Paulson & Co also reduced Citigroup shares from 41.3m to 33.5m.
