Pair of veteran investment bank partners quit roles at STJ Advisors
TWO TOP partners at STJ Advisors have resigned their positions, Companies House filings showed on Friday.
Head of debt advisory Nicholas Coates and equity capital markets veteran John Jensen have both resigned.
Coates has 31 years of experience in the market, and was responsible for much of the development of the European high yield debt markets – he founded high yield groups for both RBS and ING Barings.
Meanwhile Jensen has been in the industry for 35 years.
His past roles include senior positions at Merrill Lynch, as a managing director in equity capital markets in London and New York, as well as vice chairman of the firm’s global equity capital markets business.
STJ acts as an independent buyer for firms on major transactions, in addition to the investment banks working on the deals.
STJ Advisors declined to comment.
