This week the first British Father and Son Gold Championship was announced, due to be held from July 31st at the prestigious De Vere Belton Woods course in Lincolnshire. The event joins the already-famous European version, held annually at El Rompido Golf Resort, Costa de la Luz in Spain. Entry is open to any both amateurs and professionals. MEMORIES OF AFGHANISTAN
Ex-Apache pilot Ed Macy is set to recount his experiences in Afghanistan as part of a one-off talk at the National Army Museum set to be hosted Thursday 23 June. Macy was on active service in Afghanistan and received the Military Cross for Bravery. He is the first Apache pilot to speak about combat in these sophisticated helicopters.
