Olympic Media Buzz
IN ASSOCIATION with Repskan.com, the media monitoring and analytics platform, City A.M. is measuring the relative Olympic media buzz around the partners for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, week by week. The leaderboard, right, reflects their ranking over the past week, in this case from Wednesday 8 February to Wednesday 15 February.
Cisco, the official network infrastructure partner and will be providing switching, routing, security, firewalls and wi-fi services to 76,000 staff and volunteers and at 100 venues around the country for the games.
Cisco has also announced that it is to leave 20 per cent of the Olympic infrastructure behind and train the surrounding community through 25 new Network Academies across six East London boroughs. News of this spread well on blogs and topical news websites; along with their plans to create new innovation incubators in the area.
