No horseplay as racecourse group rakes in cash
RACECOURSE Media Group (RMG), which owns 34 British racecourses, received £74.4m in media rights revenues in 2014, a 15 per cent increase on the previous year. RMG chairman Simon Ellen yesterday put the increase partly down to the addition of Ascot to the firm’s portfolio, with chief exec Richard Fitzgerald lauding the racecourse’s “global reputation”.
