Kyrgios was fined for calling the Chinese tournament a "circus" and complaining about the "f*****g surface" during his victory over Austrian Andreas Haider-Maurer yesterday.
The 20-year-old has now received fines in excess of $30,000 in 2015 alone following his latest punishment.
Earlier in the year Kyrgios courted controversy after a lewd comment made to Stan Wawrinka about girlfriend Donna Vekic at the Rogers Cup in Montreal.
The world No32 was hit with the maximum fine of $10,000 by tennis' governing body the ATP after telling the Swiss player: "Kokkinakis banged your girlfriend. Sorry to tell you that mate." The remark referred to ATP Tour mate Thanasi Kokkinakis.
Kyrgios has also picked up fines on four other occasions for audible obscenity and unsportsmanlike behaviour and has a suspended 28-day ban that was set to be triggered if he incurred more than $5,000 in fines before February.

He must now avoid receiving a further $3,500 in fines in the next four and a half months to avoid the suspension.
At Wimbledon this year, Kyrgios made headlines and was fined for swearing, bouncing his racket into the crowd and appearing to tank a game during his loss to Richard Gasquet.
And on home turf at the Australian Open at the beginning of the year he was fined on three separate occasions – more than anyone else at the tournament.
