Murray eyes US Open title
BRITISH No1 Andy Murray returns to the court for the first time since his Wimbledon triumph tomorrow and hopes for a strong showing in the Rogers Cup in Canada as he prepares to defend his US Open title.
Murray has received a first round bye and will play either Bulgaria’s Grigor Dimitrov or Marcel Granollers of Spain in round two.
And the 26-year-old is raring to go on the hard courts of Montreal.
“I’ll work as hard as I can to give myself an opportunity at the US Open,” said Murray.
“Every player would like to get to No1, but I would rather win another grand slam or two.”
